Placing electrical symbols

Symbols on the plan#

Electrical symbols show where components are located on the situatieschema. This can include sockets, switches, lighting points, appliances, and other available consumers.

Place and review#

Place symbols when the floor plan is sufficiently correct. Then check:

• Is the symbol in the right location?
• Is it readable at the selected scale?
• Does the component belong to a circuit?
• Are properties such as name or technical data completed where needed?

Component properties#

Some components have electrical properties that can affect diagrams or lists. Enter only data you know and verify it against the real installation.
