Understand how to document circuit protection data without claiming automatic compliance.
Protection as documentation data#
Circuit protection describes how a circuit is protected. Depending on the editor fields, this can include breakers, fuses, poles, cables, or differential context.
What to check#
Check at least:
- Is the circuit linked to the right components?
- Is the protection entered according to the design or existing installation?
- Does the circuit belong to the correct distribution board?
- Is the information consistent with the eendraadschema?
When diagrams do not look right#
If a diagram does not show what you expect, first check that the circuit exists, components are assigned, and required properties are completed.
