How OhmCAD relates to AREI/RGIE#
OhmCAD is intended to support Belgian electrical documentation, such as situatieschema's and eendraadschema's. The software helps structure project data, but it does not perform an official inspection.
How OhmCAD works#
OhmCAD lets you enter and structure project data:
- Floor plan and situatieschema.
- Electrical symbols.
- Circuits and component assignments.
- Distribution board and protection data.
- Outputs such as diagrams and exports.
General AREI/RGIE information#
AREI/RGIE rules describe requirements for electrical installations and documentation. Which requirements apply depends on the installation and context. Consult current official sources or a qualified professional when in doubt.
